Meditation, Mindfulness & the Mind-Body Connection

Sleep Better. Feel Calmer. Be Happier. The goal of this program is to help folks develop an understanding of meditation techniques and obstacles and to develop a consistent meditation practice. The most amazing energy in our world is the human mind. We have such vast untapped potential that is often blocked from our awareness by a constant stream of negative or unproductive thoughts. Meditation helps us rediscover our positive and powerful potential. When we meditate our mind becomes recharged with our own positive energy and we are able to remove and reduce negative and distracting thoughts. With a positive and calm state of mind, your sense of well being will improve with every day you meditate. Learn how your mind can become more calm and focused. Everyone has the ability to attain a higher level of awareness, inner calm and feeling of overall positivity!

  • Each session meets 7:15 to 9 PM.

Christine Aspen
Christine is a yoga entrepreneur and visionary. She is committed to making a difference in the lives of others that is real and long-lasting through the practice and teaching of yoga. She is a masterful power yoga teacher with more than 3000 hours of training experience in yoga asana, anatomy, yoga philosophy and meditation, 14 years of teaching experience and 20 years of dedicated yoga practice. She has logged thousands of hours of teaching experience over the years and is a Tier 3 Baptiste Yoga Teacher and E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. She loves teaching yoga and meditation to the community and working with students on how to optimize the practice to meet their individual needs. She also has a special interest in training and mentoring yoga teachers in the art, skill and science of teaching yoga effectively and simply, yet powerfully. Christine has trained and mentored some of the best and most impactful yoga teachers at the Jersey Shore. She is the owner and founder of Drishti Power Yoga, a space dedicated to creating community and sharing yoga as a life transforming practice.
